The Training and Information Center (TIC) was established under the order №54 оf 20.07.2011 according to the Rosleshoz letter № ET-09-46/6137.

TIC key objectives:

• Rise of information countermeasures efficiency in contaminated forest zones
• Training of forest radiation safety specialists using updated radiometric and spectrometric hardware, mobile radiometric units (including travelling training seminars)
• Consulting services for various public categories on radiation safety in forests
• Promotion in introduction of updated preventive, protective and rehabilitation operations in forest management in contaminated zones
