Discussion of terms and definitions

In Madrid (Spain) on 27-28 November 2012 there was a meeting on the terms and definitions for a legally binding agreement (YUOS) on forests in Europe. The meeting was attended by Deputy. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the terms and definitions available in the draft negotiating text on YUOS and formulation of agreed solutions. European Forest Institute has prepared a proposal for the terms and definitions for discussion. In addition, several countries have submitted their proposals.

During the meeting analyzed all proposals received by the secretariat. The expert discussion will inform the list of terms and definitions for further consideration by the IPC-3, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey (January 28 - February 1, 2013)
