Information on the regional seminar in Tyumen region

August 1, 2012 in p.Komsomolsky Zavodoukovsk urban district (Tyumen region) hosted a regional seminar on "Logging is the main method of managing the forests of the Tyumen region." The organizers - the branch FBU VNIILM "Siberian Forest Experiment Station" and CJSC "Zagros".

The seminar was attended by Head of the forest and reforestation Rosleskhoz AN Mariev, director of the FBU VNIILM AA Martynyuk, Director of forest complex of the Tyumen region, DM Mamontov, tenants woodlots who harvest timber.

The seminar addressed issues of implementation in the Tyumen region of priority investment projects in forest development and the problems associated with the mechanization of logging in protected forests and their restoration. Also at the workshop, questions were raised and the current timber accounting changes leased forest land. Not gone unnoticed and problems of scientific and technical support timber harvesting and reforestation of forest plots tenants.

The seminar participants were shown six pilot production units of JSC "Zagros" technology-related timber multioperational machines and technology to promote natural regeneration in protected forests.
